Axiom Discs Fission Insanity Distance Driver

Axiom Discs, a subsidiary of MVP Disc Sports, has introduced a new focus on style with their Insanity disc, featuring vibrant color combinations, new stamp series, and foils. This distance driver is designed to provide players with more options for GYRO-enhanced discs, offering versatility in terms of colors, flight profiles, and feel.

The Insanity's defining characteristic is its slow turn and straight fade, crafted to mimic a worn Inertia. This design allows the disc to require less power to execute certain Inertia flights, exhibiting a bit more turn and a more neutral fade portion than the Inertia.

High-power throwers will experience enhanced glide and forward carry at low speeds, making the Insanity useful for a variety of low-ceiling shots and higher tailwind-riding lines. Average-power throwers will see the most advantage with low-height drives that gain distance and have enough stability to easily range.

The Insanity is most suited for backhand drives and either highly skilled forehands or beginner-power forehands. Its high-speed turn excels for hyzer-flip drives, turnovers, and smooth-power flat releases, as well as a variety of utility and tailwind shots.

Axiom's Fission plastic, featuring micro-sized bubbles in the core, allows approximately 85% of the weight to be on the rim. This makes each Fission disc fly similar to a disc that weighs 15 to 20 grams heavier, providing the added distance of a lightweight disc with the stability of a maximum-weight disc, all while maintaining the same durability as other premium blends.

Axiom Discs' design philosophy focuses on enhancing aerodynamics, linear momentum, and angular momentum to create the best-performing products in all aspects of disc golf.
